Briefly comments on China Teachers Program which sent couples to China to teach English beginning in 1989; International Relations Program, subsequently known as David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies; and Washington Seminar, which sent students to study in Washington D.C. Also mentions his experience as a Fulbright professor in Vietnam during Vietnam War, and on the "spy scandal" at BYU in the late 1960s. McKay building began in 1952 after an evaluation by the Brigham Young University College of Education concluded that the existing building for the College of Education were no longer meeting the growing needs of the program.
